Carl John Vallejos, 85, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Pleasanton, California. He was cared for and surrounded by family every day throughout his illness. Carl was born January 31, 1938, in Walsenburg, Colorado. Carl was proud to be a veteran who served in the U.S. air force, a sheriff for the city of Modesto, California, and a manager at Allstate Insurance for many years, he and his wife owned Remedy Temp Agency Franchise offices, he worked out of his home in Roseville, California as an insurance agent for PIA Select, and recently moved to and resided in Dublin, California. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nadine Vallejos, Steven Vallejos (son), Sheri Moore (daughter) (Peter Moore), Bambi Krumbach (daughter) (Ron Krumbach), 9 grandchildren: Shane, Christopher, Matthew, Jerrod, Nick, Patrick, Andy, Brandon, & Vanessa. 14 great grandchildren: Alexis, Maddisyn P., Maddisyn H., Jesslyn, Samuel, Lydia, Tripp, Memphis, Mickey, Annie, Mason, Asher, Kailey, and Jackson, and one Great-Great Grandson: Finn. Erma Farrell (sister), Maxine Rixman (Sister) (Rob), Daniel Avila Vallejos (brother), Niece/Goddaughter Lisa Farrell (KC) Grand Nephew: Declan. He was preceded in death by his parents Anselmo Vallejos and Lucia Avila Vallejos, and grandchildren, Natosha, Nicholas and Nicole. Dorthy Young (sister), Vange Owensby (sister), Marguerite Vallejos (sister), Erlinda Tafoya (sister), Esther Romero Landon (sister), William Vallejos (brother), Anselmo-chemo- Vallejos. Carl was always a hardworking and dedicated man in his career and family. He had a great sense of humor and had a positive outlook on life. He enjoyed his Starbucks coffees, the San Francisco 49ers and Giants, keeping up to date on his news programs and making others laugh. He loved working with his clients and was concerned about them until the very end. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. We love you Papa, rest in peace. A mass and funeral service will be held on May 24, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery & Funeral Center located at 26320 Mission Blvd Hayward, California.
