Agustin Lagman Alfonso Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on September 29th, 2023, leaving behind a cherished legacy of love and resilience. He was born on July 13th, 1945, in the Philippines, and in 1981, he came to the United States, driven by his determination to provide a better future for his family.

  Agustin was a man of remarkable strength, courage, and dedication. He worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being and happiness of his loved ones. His commitment to his role as a provider was unwavering, as he believed that family always came first. His hard work and sacrifices were a testament to his selflessness and love.

 Agustin's devotion extended beyond providing for his family. He was a true pillar of support and guidance. The love he had for his wife Shelia Alfonso was immense. Providing all the care she’s needed over the years, he was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He reminded us of the importance of companionship and unity in times of both joy and difficulty.

A nurturing father, Agustin leaves behind a treasured legacy in his children: Jeff, Patrick, Jason, and Christopher. Through his unwavering love, he imparted valuable life lessons and instilled in them the importance of resilience, compassion, and hard work. His guidance helped shape their characters, and his presence will forever be felt in their lives. He was also a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to four.

 Agustin's impact was not limited to his immediate family. His compassionate & helpful nature was spread to all other family & friends. His community also feels a deep loss as there was no limit to his willingness to help his neighbors when they needed it.

 Agustin's journey was one of strength, perseverance, and love. His hard work, combined with his altruistic nature helped to foster a love & respect from so many that knew him.

 As we mourn Agustin's loss, we find solace in the profound impact he had on everyone who were lucky enough to call him family or friend. His memory will forever be etched in our minds, serving as a guiding light in times of darkness. The kindness, intelligence, and humanity he embodied will continue to inspire us to live purposefully, with empathy and love.
