Angel Luis Barros

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Angel Luis Barros, also known as “Tito”. He was a beloved husband, father, abuelo, great abuelo, brother, uncle, and friend. He was surrounded by loved ones when he left us to be with the Lord on January 7, 2024, at the age of 89. Angel leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever reside in our hearts. Though we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the remarkable life of Angel. Angel was born in Puerto Rico on April 16, 1934, where he grew up and left Puerto Rico at a young age to come to Brentwood, California to work at USS-POSCO. He worked at the Pittsburg Steel Mill for 36 years and retired on April 30, 1999. Angel/Tito was a long-time resident of Brentwood of 60 years. He continued to work hard in order to build a better life for himself and his family. Angel with help of other family members built the house that he and his wife is currently living in till this day. Angel is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Misterlina Barros and his children Angel Barros (Tina Barros), Brenda Rogers (Brian Rogers), Bobby Barros, and Misty Spencer (Paul Spencer). He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother (Rafael Barros Rivera) and sister (Isabel Barros Rivera).
