Anna Maria “Anita” Serrano

Anna Maria “Anita” Serrano, 90, of Hayward, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021. She was born February 18, 1931 in Firebaugh, California to Cruz and Sarah Barrios.

Anita was preceded in death by her Husband Salvador “Chava” Serrano; son, Richard Serrano; and daughters, Reyna Mestas, Carmen Ruelas. She is survived by her son, Fernando Serrano; daughter, María Elena Costa; 14 Grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren, 12 Great great grandchildren. She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Anita welcomed all into her home. She will be remembered for her unconditional love of her family and friends. She will be missed dearly.

A service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery and Funeral Center in Hayward, California on Friday, June 25, 2021, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Chava.

November 2, All Souls Day: Our gates will be open for visitors at sunrise at 7:00 am and will close at Sunset at 6:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.
