Anthony “Tony” Mark Ciglar, 72, passed away on Sunday May 26, 2024 and is now in peace with God.
Tony was born to Josephine and Frank Ciglar on March 1, 1952 in Oakland, CA. Tony was the epitome of a family man, as they were the most important thing to him. Some of his favorite pastimes included family camping trips, BBQs, game nights, watching Bay Area sports teams, gardening and playing the Lotto. Tony was a proud, strong, hardworking man. He worked for Carquest Auto Body/Advanced Auto Parts for over 45 years.
Tony is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leslie Ciglar, his two daughters Melissa Santana and Sarah Cortes, son in laws Elliot Santana and Jose Cortes, five grandchildren Anthony, Jason and Jessica Santana, Max and Mia Cortes, and two brothers Frank and David Ciglar. Tony is rejoined in heaven with his mother Josephine, father Frank and brother Michael.
He is dearly loved and will forever be missed. We love you, may you rest in peace. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 11, 2024 from 5-8PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, located at 1051 Harder Road, Hayward CA 94542
