Antonia Barragán murió el día 7 de septiembre del 2022. Antonia nació en Guachinango, Jalisco, México el día 28 de Mayo de 1957, se caso el día 5 de Febrero del 1983 con el Sr. Ramon Barragán que en paz descanse. Emigraron a los estados unidos y vivieron la mayoría del tiempo en la ciudad de Newark, California, eventualmente se movieron para Hayward, California donde vivió sus últimos 22 años. Le sobreviven cuatro hijos, Luis, Jorge, David y Daniel, también sus nueras Nancy, Sonia y Andrea además de sus nueve nietos. Antonia dedico parte de su vida sirviendo a los demás, fue cuidadora de niños y una persona muy trabajadora, siendo su ultimo empleo en el distrito escolar unificado de Oakland como afanadora. Antonia será recordada como una gran guerrera, trabajadora, luchadora incansable, siendo ante todo un ser humano maravilloso, esposa, madre e hija amorosa, amiga fiel y bondadosa, devota católica con gran fe en Dios, asegurando que guardará un espacio en el corazón de todos aquellos que tuvimos el honor de conocerla. Antonia Barragan entered to eternal life on September 7, 2022. Antonia was born in Guachinango, Jalisco, Mexico on May 28, 1957. She married on Feb 5, 1983 with Mr. Ramon Barragan (Rest in Peace). They immigrated to the United States and lived most of the time in the city of Newark, California, eventually they moved to Hayward, California where she lived for the last 21 years. Antonia is survived by her children: Luis, Jorge, David and Daniel, as well as her daughters-in-law Nancy, Sonia, Andrea and her nine grandchildren. Antonia dedicated part of her life helping others. She was a babysitter for many years of her life, a hard worker being her last job in the Oakland Unified School District as a custodian. Antonia will be remembered as a great warrior, tireless fighter, a wonderful human being, loving wife, mother and daughter, faithful and kind friend, devoted catholic with the greatest faith in God. Antonia will forever keep a space in the hearts of all those who had the honor of knowing her. REST IN PEACE.
