Consuelo “Connie” Marie Anderson, aged 95, of Fremont, California, passed away peacefully in her home on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024.
Born to Vincent & Lila Molina in San Jose, California on May 8, 1929, Connie completed her education at Oakland Technology (Tech) High School in 1947 in Oakland, Ca.
Post-graduation, Connie was employed as a bookkeeper at Sears and Roebuck for 45 years.
Connie married Ralph Arthur Anderson in 1957 in Oakland, California. They had two daughters, Karen Marie Wilson and Susan Lila Anderson.
Connie had many hobbies throughout her long life. In her younger years she enjoyed ballroom dancing. She liked spending time with her grandchildren and doing crafts with them. She loved her dogs, and while she was still able, she enjoyed taking them for long walks. Connie was very gifted in crochet and made many beautiful bedspreads, blankets and pillow covers.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Lila, and her eldest daughter, Karen. Connie’s legacy continues through her youngest daughter, Susan, her three grandchildren, Sarah Molina Reavis (Richard), Douglas Rock Wilson Jr., (Sofia) & Derek Christopher Wilson (Milena), and her three great grandchildren, Grace Catherine Wilson, Heleina Peñaranda Wilson, & Samuel Arthur Reavis.
A service to celebrate the life of Connie will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church in Hayward, Ca. Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Oakland, Ca. Afterwards, friends and family are welcome to meet at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Leandro to share your fond (and silly!) memories of Connie. You can purchase food and drink in the main restaurant and then please join us on the patio.
