It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts to announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Emma Rose Madeline Kilby, 31, of Hayward, CA.
She was born on December 10, 1992, in Castro Valley.
Emma was not only a great daughter, aunt, and sibling but a near perfect mother to her daughter, Ella. The two were as close as close can be.
A stunningly beautiful woman on the outside, her heart was pure and beautiful to match. You could genuinely feel her love and it came without limits.
Emma was a great soccer player, but more recently an amazing Coach to the competitive girls’ team, Chaos of Hayward.
To say Emma loved football is an understatement. A Raiders fan since birth, she loved attending the games with family and friends and always had the 411 on player updates or news. It was a regular conversation topic of hers.
Emma worked at Encon Electronics of Hayward.
She was a loved coworker known for her witty humor and constant banter with employees around the office.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
We will cherish the moments we shared with her and honor her in remembrance.
She is survived by her father, Michael Kilby, mother, Marcie Kilby, daughter, Ella Macias Kilby, partner, Alejandro Macias, brother, Justin Kilby, sister, Rachel Kilby, nephew, Shane Kilby II, predeceased by brother, Shane Kilby and son, Adrian Macias Kilby.

- Rosary: April 1st from 4-8pm at Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B St., Hayward.
- Funeral: April 2nd at 12pm at All Saints Church, 22824 Second St., Hayward.
- Reception to follow the service at First Presbyterian Church, 2490 Grove Way, Castro Valley.
