Felicisima C. Reyes was called home on October 6, 2022. We ask for prayer for the soul of our dearly departed, that the Lord be pleased to receive her in His heavenly company.
Felicisima was born on October 24, 1930, in San Mateo, Rizal- Philippines. She is the eldest of ten children of Filemon and Victorina Cruz. She grew up during the times of war and the “Liberation”. Being part of a big family, she learned the importance of hard work and generosity that extended to everyone she knows.
Fely, as she was commonly known, loved to be around people. There wasn’t a party that she did not like. She loved cooking for the family, enjoyed working on her garden and was an avid mahjong player.
Fely is survived by her 7 children and their spouses, 18 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters, 7 sisters, and 1 brother. She is preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col Jesus Reyes, DDS., her parents, her sister Remedios and her brother Virgilio.
Dear Mommy, when the Lord closed your eyes, he took away your pain, He quiet your troubled mind, and gave rest to your tired body. May you soar to the Heavens and may you be in God’s Garden to walk with Him and talk with Him and grow your orchids for Him.
October 19, 2022 Wednesday - Visitation/Vigil at Holy Sepulchre’s St. Michael Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00PM
October 20, 2022 Thursday – Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, San Leandro CA at 10:30AM
Interment follows at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
