Josefa “Imang Epang” Dizon

Went home to Jesus on February 22, 2022 at age 91. Josefa was born to Gavino and Elancia Castro on July 9, 1930 in Angeles City, Philippines. As a child during the Japanese occupation, she and the rest of her 11 siblings endured the difficult life of the invasion. Her parents had to make peace with the Japanese so their kids will survive. As hard as it was for the family, she excelled in school especially in dress making. Josefa met her husband, Narciso Dizon, at a gathering. Two years later, they married on March 2, 1952 and went on to have 10 children: Amor, Ador, Alma, Alex, Adna (RIP), Anet, Aida, Amos, Abel, and Adel. Blessed with 17 grandchildren who she lovingly watched while their parents work. They loved the casinos, at times once an opportunity was there they would just sneak out. Sundays are special coz’kids and grandkids will be feasting at their house with special tidtad, puchero, fried eggplants and fried fish. We are saddened that you are not here anymore but we are happy knowing that the angels, including Tatang and Adna have finally got your back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother. She is survived by her 9 children, 17 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
