Laes Fernandez, 48, passed away on November 14, 2024, in Vallejo, CA. Born on November 11, 1976, in the Philippines to Augusto and Beth Fernandez, Laes relocated to the US with his family in 1979, where he built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family and loved ones.
Laes was an extraordinary father, dedicating his heart and soul to his daughters, Lachelle and Alana, who were the light of his life. As a loving son, he honored his parents with warmth and gratitude. As a kind brother, a humorous uncle, and a caring cousin, Laes nurtured deep family bonds that enriched the lives of those around him.
To his friends and family, Laes was not only a loyal confidant but also a gifted comedian with a heart of gold. His quick wit and infectious humor could brighten even the darkest days, leaving everyone laughing and feeling uplifted. His warm smile, sense of humor, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Laes is survived by his parents, his beloved daughters, his brother, nieces, uncles, aunts, and many cousins. He is reunited in eternal peace with his grandparents, uncles, and aunties.
A service to honor and celebrate Laes’s life will take place on December 5, 2024, at 2 PM at Sorensen Chapel. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of the incredible man who brought so much love, laughter, and joy into the world.
