Linda Krutsinger

Linda Krutsinger, 76, beloved wife of John Krutsinger, married 54 years 5 months and 2 days was called home to her eternal rest on Thursday December 21, 2023 after a short but aggressive battle with lung cancer. Linda began life in 1947 in Salinas, California. Her younger brothers were to follow and soon the family moved to Vallejo where Linda spent her formative years and importantly, where she met the love of her life John at a “Battle of the Bands”. With John and Linda it was love at first sight and on July 19, 1969 they were joined together in a bond of love and commitment that would go unbroken for over 54 years. Soon John and Linda began a family, welcoming their son Frank in 1970. Becoming parents would be the first of many adventures for Linda and John. Whether they were moving across the country from coast to coast with John’s work or traveling abroad, one thing was for certain, they would be doing it together. Linda was incredibly creative. Decorating, especially at Christmastime, was a passion of hers. She loved to host family and show them her spectacular themed trees that she, and John, put up. Linda loved her family, she loved learning about family through genealogy, and learning about vegetable gardening and new healthy habits from the gardening. Linda recently discovered her love of cruises with family and had hopes of more cruising fun. Linda was predeceased by her parents George and Jean Duriez, brothers David and Donald Duriez, and niece Rebecca Duriez. She is survived by her husband John, son Fr Alphonsus (Frank), and niece Stephanie Duriez, and many other family members and friends. May her memory be a blessing to all.
