Maria Ermelinda Nunes, 88, of Brentwood, California, passed away on June 24, 2022.
Ermelinda was born on February 4, 1934 in Machico, Madeira Island, Portugal to Maria Gouveia and Germano Nunes.
Ermelinda was predeceased by her husband, Joao De Freitas. She is survived by her sons Jose De Freitas and Rui De Freitas, daughter Mericia Miranda, grandchildren Americo (Rico) Garcia, Christopher Miranda, Natalie Garcia, Ross De Freitas, and Sandra DeFreitas, and great-grandchildren Jace Garcia, Katia DeFreitas and Tiago DeFreitas.
A viewing will be held on July 19 from 4-7pm followed by a rosary at 7:00. On July 20, there will be a viewing at 9:00am, mass at 11:00am, and the burial will take place at 12:00pm.
Viewings, rosary, mass, and burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Center, 2200 E18th Street, Antioch, CA 94509.
