Marilu Bunuan Radcliff was born in the Philippines on December 6, 1950 and died on May 2, 2020. Marilu is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bill; daughters, Amanda and Rachel (Octavio Gonzalez); grandsons Aiden and Liam. Marilu is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente Bunuan and Crispina Vera Cruz, and brothers Vicente (Angie), Roberto (Lilian), and Edgardo (Fely). Marilu is survived by her brother, Ricky (Claire Banawa), and her sister, Carol (John Red). In 1981, Marilu came to California where she met her husband, Bill. She applied her skills as a technical writer in commercial insurance, warehousing, and healthcare software. But her favorite job was as Secretary at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Pleasanton where she found herself serving and loving its parishioners. As a cradle Catholic, Marilu also found herself wanting to learn more about her Faith and being of service to others. She got started as an RCIA catechist and, together with Bill, as Marriage Preparation facilitators. We will celebrate Marilu’s life next year if things are safe.
