Maryann McMenomy passed away March 25, 2024. Maryann was born in 1946 in Mississippi and moved to South San Francisco when she was 8. She graduated from El Camino High School while going to Beauty School to perfect her bee hive up-dos. In 1977 she moved with her husband and children to Antioch. With her husband, Albert, they began a new journey and opened Al’s Donuts where she enjoyed making cakes for birthdays and weddings. She then followed her passion and opened Maryann’s Baking Supply where she taught cake decorating and candy making classes. After semi-retiring, she continued her talent at Sam’s Club in the bakery and then retired from Walmart. She loved her days of morning coffee and gardening to her beautiful flowers in the yard while listening to Elvis.
Maryann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Al and her brother Tony. She is survived by her son Tony and wife Lisa, her daughter Nancy and partner Robert, grandchildren and sister Nancy. Her beautiful smile and warm heart will forever live on in all those that knew her.
All services will be held Saturday, April 13th at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2200 E 18th Street, Antioch with a Visitation at 9:30 am and a Funeral Service at 10:30 and committal to follow. Friends and family are welcome to gather after at her home to celebrate her life and share wonderful memories.
