Michael Samuel Falzone

Michael Samuel Falzone passed peacefully in his sleep on June 3, 2021 in Pleasanton, California. Born in Trenton, New Jersey on September 20, 1929 to Salvatore and Maria Falzone, he was the 6th of seven children. Michael served in the Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in October of 1952. While serving in the Navy and stationed in Alameda, he met the love of his life Dolores Peters and they were married on January 18, 1953 in Oakland, CA. After their wedding, they moved to New Jersey until 1961 when they moved back to the west coast and settled in Oakland. Michael worked at Cutter (Miles/Bayer) Laboratories in Berkeley, California and retired after 30 years.

Michael was known for his humble, quiet spirit; his warm and loving smile; and his commitment to his family and faith. His hobbies were sailing, swimming and playing music.

Michael leaves behind his spouse of 68 years, Dolores; daughters Doris (Tom Megura) and Debbie (Tom) Egan and sons Michael (Margaret) and Stephen (Cecelia Fusich); Grandchildren Melynda, Jacob (Victoria), Michael (Stephanie), Nathaniel, Anna, Morgan, and Claire; and Great Grandchildren Theo and Walter. He is also survived by his younger sister Mary Gallagher and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hayward, St Michael Chapel on Friday June 11, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. followed by services at 12.

Family is requesting Donations to Hope Hospice in lieu of flowers.
