Nopracio Supan Malonzo

Nopracio Supan Malonzo passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023.

On May 2, 1949, Nopracio, best known as "Opry," was born in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines to Fermin & Celerina Malonzo. He was the 6th of 10 children.

He proudly served over 21 years in the United States Coast Guard and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer, W3.

He will be remembered as the "best chef" to his family and for the recipes no one could replicate, for his singing and his dance moves, but most of all, for being a devoted and kind husband, father, grandfather, brother and shipmate.

Opry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Loretta Santiago Malonzo and their three children, Michelle S. Malonzo-Munios (Rhodsy Munios), Christopher S. Malonzo (Melissa Malonzo) and Opry Jay S. Malonzo (Karen Malonzo). He was the proud grandfather of Logan Jaedon Malonzo-Munios, Carter Benedict Malonzo-Munios, Evan Mateo Malonzo, Jacob Kaleo Malonzo, Penelope Celerina Malonzo-Munios and Quinn Saturnina Malonzo-Munios.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19th from 4-8PM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery located at 2540 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA 94806. Vigil will be held at 6PM.

The Funeral Mass with Military Honors will be on Wednesday, December 20th at 10AM at St. Patrick Church at 825 Seventh Street, Rodeo, CA 94572.
