Otilio Munoz passed away peacefully on September 23, 2024, with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Maria, his children Christina, Victoria, Kathleen, Nancy, Daniel, Carol, and Linda along with 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was born in Richmond, California to Otilio and Soledad Munoz. He was the eldest son out of ten children. He graduated from Richmond High School and attended Contra Costa College before he joined the U.S. Army where he served for 6 years, and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. After starting a family he started his career at the Chevron Refinery in Richmond where he proudly thrived for 39 years. He retired as an Operations Safety Engineer. After retirement, Otilio enjoyed engaging in volunteer work for his church such as " Meals on Wheels", caring for the elderly and those with disabilities and also serving communion to the sick in their homes. He took pride in everything he did in life, such as his home, his yard, his health, his appearance, his family, and all his daily tasks. This amazing, witty, loving man will be missed tremendously.
