Stacey Marie Ottman was born on July 17, 1966, to Willard and Mary Pat (Armstrong) Ottman.
Growing up, she was very active in the Girl Scouts, receiving the Marian Medal Award. She
also participated in FFA (Future Farmers of America) in the livestock judging track and served
as a Local and District Officer. During high school, Stacey worked at the A & W and at the
family farm. She graduated from Lemmon High School in 1985.
Immediately after high school, Stacey moved to Germany and traveled abroad for several years
- including spending time in Hungary behind the Iron Curtain. She returned to the United States
and worked near home at Shadehill State Park in SD. She headed east after a couple of years
and nannied for two different families in New York City until moving to Wisconsin to complete
her photography degree and was then employed by JCPenney photography department. In
1993, Stacey moved to San Francisco, CA where she continued to work in the JCPenney
photography department for many years.
Stacey met the love of her life, Miguel Dominguez, while both were working for JCPenney. He
often asked her why she married/loved him, and she said, "because you are perfect for me!"
They were married August 6, 1994, at St. Finn Barr Church in San Francisco. Their son Dexter
was born on August 3, 1995, and shortly thereafter, they moved to Daly City, CA. Their daughter
Sadie was born on March 26, 1999. At that time, Stacey decided to become a full-time mom.
She loved being home with her husband and children, but she also loved taking them on
adventures. She doted on her children but never forgot about her niece, nephew and
godchildren. Holidays were always special to Stacey, and everyone was welcome at the
Dominguez household. She was the most attentive hostess, always making sure you had your
favorite dish or beverage.
Stacey loved being the “tour guide” to whomever was able to accompany her on her many
adventures in and around the San Francisco area. If you visited, you can be sure she would
have a full agenda of activities planned and always wanted to know when you would be
coming back! She took any opportunity to travel, and she made many trips to South Dakota,
North Dakota, Minnesota, and New Hampshire to see family and friends – always by car, no
matter the distance. Her adventures took her to many other states and on many side roads.
She loved seeing new places and taking different routes to her final destination-even if it meant
more time in the vehicle.
Never one to leave the camera behind, she continued to use her photography skills to take
pictures of family, friends, trips and later snapchats to remember the many travels and
adventures.
Stacey leaves behind her beloved husband Miguel Dominguez, her sons Dexter & Alan, and her
daughter Sadie. Brothers Art (Joni) Ottman, Bill (Dawn) Ottman, and Gerard (Danielle) Ottman.
Also left to mourn her sudden passing are her sister JoLinda (Steve) Hay, niece Ashley, nephew

Goldsmith and their families plus numerous family members on the Dominguez side.
